Stepmania:
StepMania Put this on your notebook computer and take your dance pad on the road! (Get a dance pad with a USB connector or check out these adapters).Or... If you aren't able to play a dancepad game at the moment and suffering from withdrawal, you could always try out Flash Flash Revolution:

DDR:
Dance Dance Revolution is a very fun game. Sure, people pooh-pooh it the first time they see it. Until they've spent a night playing it at a video game party, that is -- then they find themselves out buying their own copy. Some good songs include: Speed Over Beethoven, Break down!, Dream a Dream, End of Century, Irresistiblement, Butterfly, Daikenkai (this makes me wonder what Rammstein would be like if they were Japanese, also the lyrics start sounding like "Knife and Fork" if you play this one awhile) -- yes, I tend to like the fast ones! (Someone actually found this song on my page while searching "Knife and Fork," so I'm glad I added that. =:3)
There's also the "Zoo Bar" and, er, dance music: Block Rockin' Beats, Spin Spin Sugar, Get Busy, Cotton-eye Joe, Another Night Another Dream, Around the World. Also, some older classics: Pump up the Volume, Twilight Zone, You Gotta Move It, We are the Champions, We Will Rock You, Kids in America, I Like to Move It, Flashdance; and this other category that defies description: Kung Fu Fighting, In the Navy, I Will Survive, La Bamba, YMCA. Of course, you could always get the disney mix and be DDR'ing to Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious if you really want to.

There are plenty of other interesting DDR videos, including a Counter-Strike one.. haha There are also also videos of large groups of people "shadowing" -- an excellent choice for former country line-dancers. hehe
If you'd like a little variety, check out Flow: Urban Dance Uprising, which has a hip-hop, breakdancing theme. You can stick to the dance pad, and your on-screen character will perform the breakdancing moves for you. This game does have some interesting features and catchy tunes... If you like pictionary, try Literati is the game for you if you like Scrabble (set up a weekly long distance scrabble game!); most people seem to like playing Pool; my favourites are the word games -- Word Racer is great if you can type fast; and of course, there are always lots of solitaire games.
